This year’s Holiday Spectacular is…
Elfis and the Sleigh Riders!
It’s happening at 9AM on December 14th, 2017 on the beautiful Empresa blacktop.
Here’s what you need to know…
The show runs approximately one hour, so you’ll be done by 10AM.
Dress in layers – December in our town seems to be our wildest weather time, and temps can change as much as 25 degrees during the show hour.
As you are well aware, parking is extremely limited – plan to walk to school if at all possible, or you might think about this newfangled Uber thing for easy drop off/pickup. Or Lyft. Or Yellow Cab. If you’re new to Empresa, keep in mind that the show features a cast of over 800 students. If two people show up for each student, that’s 1600 audience members…Here’s what it can look like:
So, please be patient with each other in the spirit of the season. We’ve seen a few incidents of what could politely be called *AMAZING* behavior by parents over the years – please remember that children are watching.
Gates will open at 830AM – please do not try to come in earlier. No parent classroom volunteers will be allowed on show day. Coffee and other queue standing delights will be available.
Bring a low-back beach chair if you want to sit close to the stage. Regular chairs and standing room will be positioned further back.
Our canned food drive, sponsored by our student council, is accepting donation – bring a can or two with you!
We will be accepting donations for the EPAF Make Music Happen fund drive at the exits, so bring your checkbook!
If weather becomes an issue, you will be notified as appropriate.
See you at the show!
